Refund policy
Last updated September 6, 2026
Premium is a paid annual subscription to Ascend Prep. Everything it unlocks is available the moment you pay, so all purchases are final and non-refundable. You can cancel at any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Try before you buy
The free plan exists so that you never have to pay to find out whether Ascend Prep suits you. It includes a full-length SAT and ACT practice exam with instant scoring and a study plan built from the result. Use it first.
Cancelling
Go to Account, then Manage billing, and choose Cancel plan. Your subscription will not renew, no further charge is taken, and Premium stays active until the paid year ends. Cancelling does not refund the current period.
Right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU and UK
Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Because Premium is digital content delivered in full immediately, the law lets you waive that right, and buying Premium does so: at checkout you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once access begins (French Consumer Code, article L221-28, 13°).
When we do refund
We will refund, in full and promptly, if:
- You were charged twice for the same subscription.
- A fault on our side prevented you from using Premium for a substantial part of the period and we could not fix it.
- The law of your place of residence requires it regardless of this policy.
Email chamowil@outlook.com from your account address with the date of the charge. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and can take 5 to 10 business days to appear.
Chargebacks
Please write to us before opening a dispute with your bank. A chargeback on a charge that matches this policy may result in the account being closed.
